Whenever you see a bright red STARS helicopter fly overhead or even land in your community, a team of highly trained emergency care experts are giving hope to someone who is critically ill or injured.
STARS Air Ambulance is dedicated to providing a safe, rapid, highly specialized emergency medical transport system for the critically ill and injured, operating from six bases in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta. Since 1985, STARS has responded to more than 45,000 emergencies, providing the prospect of a second chance to those who may not have had one otherwise.
As a non-profit organization, STARS operates on a shared-funding model where costs are paid through government funding, community fundraising, individual donors and corporate support.
Regardless of where you work, play, live, or visit across the prairies, STARS will be there for you on your worst day and ready to provide life-saving critical care to the next patient that needs it.
Join us on October 6, 2021 in the fight for life and donate to Critical Care on the Air.
