Why do you support STARS?
Furlon is proud to have volunteered for the upcoming Rescue on the Island fundraiser and hopes his efforts contribute to a very worthwhile cause. He personally toured the STARS base last year and received first hand presentation by staff that inspired his interests of becoming more involved.
He has always been aware and thankful of the numerous occasions STARS had landed in this community but will always be grateful for one mission involving his grand-son. This involved a personal gun injury which needed immediate transportation to a hospital and STARS responded. His grand-son recovered and is now enjoying a healthy life back home. Thank you STARS! This events contribution is a small token on behalf of myself and South Beach Casino for a greater benefit that provides life-saving missions for those in need.
